Connecting Identity and Heritage through Story: Share your Stories of Life in District 1 (11 April 2026)

Long before Cape Town’s modern skyline took shape, District One was a tapestry of families, faith, and folklore. Nestled between the slopes of Signal Hill and the sea, this area (including De Waterkant and Green Point) was a vibrant home to many until the forced removals changed its landscape forever.

Join us as we ensure these legacies are not only preserved, but also remembered and celebrated by generations to come.
